Cocopeat, also known as coconut coir or coconut peat, is made from the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut. It is processed and dried to create a lightweight, soil-like substrate used in gardening and agriculture.
Cocofiber, on the other hand, is produced from the long fibers extracted from the coconut husk. These fibers are cleaned, spun, and sometimes compressed into mats or used as raw material for various industrial applications, such as making ropes, brushes, and mattresses.
